The "Premium" Bulb Eater® not only crushes spent fluorescent lamps of any length into 100% recyclable material, but also captures over 99.99% of the vapors released! The system, which is mounted to a 55-gallon container, can hold up to 1350 4' fluorescent lamps.
In addition to providing EPA and OSHA compliance, the Bulb Eater® frees up valuable storage space normally filled with boxes of spent whole lamps, reduces handling and related labor costs, and typically cuts recycling costs by 50% or more.

MODEL 55VRS-U “STANDARD BULB EATER”:
The standard bulb eater will provide a safe environment for the crushing and storage of all straight fluorescent tubes. The estimated capacity for a 55 gallon drum is up to 1,350 - 4’ T8 lamps or 850 – 4’ T12 lamps. This unit will process any U-Bend lamps. The filtering system provides mercury exposure levels to the operator and the environment will under the OSHA standards. (Filtering system must be maintained in accordance to the manufactures specifications)
MODEL 55 VRS “PREMIUM BULB EATER”:
The premium bulb eater will provide a safe environment for the crushing and storage of all straight fluorescent tubes. The estimated capacity for a 55 gallon drum is up to 1,350 - 4’ T8 lamps or 800 – 4’ T12 lamps. This unit will not process any U-Bend lamps. The filtering system on the premium bulb eater provides even a greater reduction in mercury exposure levels to the operator. This unit is recommended do to the lower levels of mercury exposure which eliminates any possibility of operator exposure. (Filtering system must be maintained in accordance to the manufactures specifications)
